How to sew pointe shoe ribbons and elastics
Sewing pointe shoe ribbons and elastics must be one of the most annoying things we have to do as dance parents! π©°
This is my 13year olds 4th pair of pointe shoes and I decided it was time to teach her how to sew them herself…. needless to say it did not go well. Lots of whinging and frustration…. and that was just from me! She did give it a good go though albeit very slow. Next time we will hopefully progress to doing both ribbons on one shoe whilst I do the rest.
