Dance Moves started with a simple idea: make the dance journey a little easier, more connected and more accessible.
What began with a love of dance, a car full of dancewear and a desire to help other dance mums has grown into something much bigger.
Today, Dance Moves is about more than what you can buy.
Itβs about the people behind the dance.
The studio owners juggling a hundred things at once.
The small businesses creating beautiful costumes and accessories.
The teachers pouring their time and passion into their students.
The parents driving to rehearsals, sewing costumes and cheering from the audience.
And, of course, the dancers themselves.
We believe the performing arts community is stronger when we support one another.
And that’s what Dance Moves is here to do.

Dance Moves is a community-focused business supporting the people and businesses that make the performing arts possible.
Through practical resources, products, marketing and business support, connections and community initiatives, we’re creating different ways to help inspire, connect and care.
For performing arts businesses, we provide marketing, strategy and practical business support.
For dance families, we still have our most popular and useful dancewear products and advice to help your dancers thrive.
For small creative businesses, we offer a place where you can sell your products to the dance community via our website.
And we also retain our dancewear marketplace for pre-loved dancewear with a portion of sales going to Ballet Without Borders.

About Becci
Hi, I’m Becci.
I’m a dance mum, a business owner, a marketer and, above all, someone who genuinely loves the performing arts and the community that surrounds them.
Dance Moves began because I saw an opportunity to make something easier for other dance families. I knew first-hand how overwhelming the dance world could sometimes and I wanted to create a business that was helpful, approachable and genuinely connected to the people it served.
But as Dance Moves grew, so did my vision for what it could become.
I realised that the same people I was meeting through dancewear were often running incredible little businesses of their own. Studio owners were trying to manage marketing between classes. Teachers were building businesses from the ground up. Costume makers and creatives were doing amazing work without the time or resources to promote themselves.
And I kept thinking:
What if Dance Moves could help with all of that too?
More than a business
Dance has given me and my family so much.
It’s taught us about confidence, resilience, discipline, creativity, friendship and community. I’ve seen how much happens behind the scenes to give dancers the opportunity to step onto a stage and do what they love.
That’s why I’m passionate about creating a business that gives something back.
Dance Moves is evolving, but the reason behind it hasn’t changed.
We want to care for, inspire and connect the performing arts community.
